PARTNERS IN THE PLANNING PROCESS VISUALISATION AND REALISATION

Wednesday 21st October 2009 10am – 3.30pm

This event is part of a programme providing a unique opportunity for architects and the wider design and build sector to come together with planning and regeneration professionals to increase their technical knowledge and become better informed of key issues for the future.

  • Gain an understanding of the capabilities of AutoCAD, Studio Max, Maya and similar 3D packages
  • Discover the possibilities of computerized laser cutting, C&C and rapid prototyping
  • Understand how projects can be enhanced by using these techniques when consulting with clients and the greater community.

Using the expertise of 3D graphic designers, animators and model makers this event will not only be informative but will include a practical workshop to participate in and a prototype to take away with you. This session is suitable for participants new to the software and those who currently use it in their work.
