Tuesday 10th November 2009 10am – 4pm
Tuesday 1st December 2009 10am – 4pm
- A review of the Code for Sustainable Homes against current building technologies and how they can help meet local and national targets
- Learn about the latest thinking on what works and where
- Through a participatory workshop, develop a better appreciation of the challenges faced by colleagues in allied professions
With contributions from architecture and urbanism experts including Martin Cook from BRE, this event aims to shine a light on this crucial area of design and planning. It will clearly explain and make relevant a topic that can appear complex and confusing to many. This session is therefore suitable for those who are new to the subject and want to know more; as well as for planners, urban designers and architects who are already experienced in the design and delivery of sustainable architecture. Therefore it can be attended by both design and build or regeneration professionals and the many stakeholders involved in the planning processes.
Venue: Enterprise Pavilion, Arts University College Bournemouth, Fern Barrow, Wallisdown, Poole BH12 5HH
Fee for day to include lunch and refreshments £45*
